KISHANGANGA HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT PART 3 WHAT OUGHT TO BE DONE! Itis true no substantial progress has been made over the years but still peace demands an ongoing dialogue.Economic progress depends on peace. Kashmir remains the major bone of contention.Pakistan and india are poor developing countries with unemployment and illiteracy rife in the region. Majority of the people do not have a high standard of living. Both countries spend a large part of the budget on defense. We have already fought three wars and experienced innumerable clashes including clashes over Siachen Kargil and the Raan of ktuch.we cannot afford another war as pakistan and india are both nuclear powers having conducted nuclear blasts in May 1998.it is the aim of the terrorsts to make us fight. Terrorists have no religion they simply want todestabilize the region as they did in 2001by attacking the indian parliament. in the wake of he Mumbai attacks india created war hysteria and threatened pakistan of dire consequences.Pakistan desires peace not war and acted rationally not emotionally. india had to tone down its rhetoric as it had no solid proof of pakistans involvement in the horren dous attacks. Instead of trying to defuse the ever simmering situation in the region india is aggravating it by its involvement in baluchistan throgh RAW and its consulates in Afganistan even america is further strengthenieg india against pakistan and china pakistans friend by supplying nuclear techonolgy to indai as a result of the 123 agreement defying every law that came in the way. India must realize taht salvation of both countries lies in peace.Nuclear war is no option there would be total destruction.Even conventional warfare is not the answer. The enemies of humanity are trying to create cleavages and harted in order to put the two countries on the road to bloodshed and annihilation .Pakistan is already a victim of terrorism.
