Kiyomizu means pure or holy water. while whipping = tera means temple.
Kyoto Kiyomizu-dera is the main and biggest temple in Kyoto (or maybe in Japan). The specialty of this temple is not a single nail is used in its structure.
The main building is made of wood with a wide veranda supported wooden pillars on the side of a hill. Underneath scenic stretches of lush green trees. In the distance, looked vaguely Kyoto.
In the fall, Kiyomizu Temple building jet-black looks much more beautiful because it was surrounded by trees reddish.
