Chess is a mind game, and for me one of my favorite when I was in grade school. Also through this we discover lot of steps or ways to win. Some of us know about ways to do checkmates. So here are the what I call ‘tricks’ in chess..
The fastest checkmate possible in chess is known as the Fool's Mate. Unlike some other fast checkmates, the Fool's Mate is rarely seen, even in games between beginners.

In short : 2-move checkmate
1) P-f4......P-e6
2) P-g4......Q-h4
3-move checkmate (basically the SAME thing as a 2-move mate)
1) P-e3......P-f5
2) P-h3......P-g5
3) Q-h5
4-move checkmate
1) P-e4......P-e5
2) B-c4......B-d6
3) Q-h5......N-f6
4) Qxf7
But EVERY chess player knows this trick...and how to avoid it and these quick checkmates happen only if your opponent plays very poorly, making foolish moves. They cannot be forced. So these almost never happen in real games.
