That's all we have for you. Thank you for your company and comments. Goodnight.

"We needed this victory," says Azhar Ali, "First two games we didn't play well. we had some plans, but they didn't go well. This time the batters played well and the bowlers backed them up. It was a tremendous innings from Akmal. It was difficult to bowl against him and also Delport, held his nerve, kept his focus. It was difficult to bat first up. Takes time to get together, we knew one good performance would get us going and hopefully this was it"

Sarfraz Ahmed congratulates Umar Akmal on his innings and Lahore Qalandars for the victory. Then he says his team would have to go back, rethink and do better.

Umar Akmal is Man of the Match for his 93 off 40 balls. He says he's been happy playing this kind of an innings and thanks his coaching staff for all their help. I got the chance to bat at No. 3 and had the time. I told myself that I should develop an innings. This pitch was a lot better than before as well.

11.20 pm Celebration time for Lahore Qalandars. They've registered their first win of the PSL, and a comprehensive one over the table-toppers Quetta Gladiators. They began slowly against spin until Cameron Delport and Umar Akmal decided to dictate terms. And with the ball in hand, Zafar Gohar, Ajantha Mendis and Zohaib Khan kept things tight and then capitalised on scoreboard pressure. Eight wickets between them and the only resistance they faced was all too brief: Mohammad Nawaz struck 42, Sarfraz Ahmed struck 31 but once they were dismissed, Quetta folded. Their last five wickets fell for a mere nine runs.
