Lake Hillier of Australia is one of the few lakes that exist on Earth pink. Located on Middle Island, one of the islands and islets that make up arhpelagul Recherche, seen from above it looks like a huge lake chewing gum.
  With a length of 600 meters aproximtiv, the lake is surrounded by a sandy beach, beyond which lie everywhere niaouli and eucalyptus forests. On the southern side of the lake is a narrow strip of forest, so aceanul is very close.
