One of my students was late to answer my call. And he's feeling tired. Then he asked me, "Can I speak slow?"

Me: Yes, okay. (But in my mind, "What the hell? He's late and we don't have enough time! I have another class!) 

But I answered yes because it seems that he's really tired. And because of that we ended late but not so late because I still called my next student on time.
