LAUKI/Bottle gourd
Lauki is called bottle gourd or doodhi .it contains 90% water and is very effective for digestion.It keeps the cooling and calming effect. Lauki is used for teeth, headache, eyes and for yellow fever.It is validly used for blood pressure and for heart problems. Bottle gourd vegetable is very effective for weight lose. Today I am going to share a very simple lauki recipe with few ingredients I hope you will try and enjoy!!!!!!.......
INGREDINETS
- Lauki 250 grams
- Ginger 1 table spoon
- Garlic past 1 table spoon
- Red chillies ½ table spoon
- Green chillies 2-3
- Turmeric powder 1/2 table spoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil 3 table spoon
- Green cardamom 1-2
Cooking directions
- Peel lauki and cut in thin slices.
- Now take a pan heat oil add ginger garlic paste and sauté.
- Add cardamom seeds and green chillies.
- When mixture is golden brown add turmeric powder, red chillies and salt.
- Now add lauki and fry it for 10 minutes.
- Reduce the flame and cover it for 5 minutes till it is soften.
- Serve with paratha or chapatti
