The amazing new band Lawson from the U.K chat with The Lab NYC's Arthur Kade right before they kick off their very first U.S tour. The pop-rock band's first performance will be at NYC's Gramercy Theater. Lawson talks about making the transition into the American scene with their hit single Brokenhearted featuring B.O.B.
The new young talents of Lawson are Andy Brown, Ryan Fletcher, Joel Peat, and Adam Pitts. These musicians are more then just a boy band. Their instrumental sounds are similar to Coldplay and The Script. The band talks about their humble beginnings five years ago in London where they met and the chemistry just clicked. They played in local pubs and smaller venues and grew into one of U.K's biggest bands. They talk about some of their idols such as The Eagles, John Mayer, Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses and Kings of Leon.
They are excited to cross over to the U.S with their upcoming singles "Juliet" and "Learn to Love Again" their more upbeat song. Keep a look out for the live version of the song and catch them on tour. The band also had an amazing performance at this years VMA's on MTV.
