I was asked via Facebook from Dan to help him with his research. Dan's idea was to incorporate game mechanics and designs into his film as a part of every day life. For example, a few kids playing football would have name tags and shot power bars. What Dan has asked his research team to do is to look into games that have certain features that he could use for his film. I came up with the idea that a persons age should reflect on their level. So for instance, an old man would be level 89 whereas a toddler would level 5. Another idea i had was to use Pacman's famous background music as his song. Or at least a similar sounding sound design that he could use to make his film more nostalgic. 

I found that being on the research team was much easier then being on shoot, however, without the team the film would not be as strong as it is. This is due to the combined efforts of many people working together to complete the task. And since everyone had different preference, we all came up with different ideas to incorporate.
