Work can be bothersome and seem imposing if you don't work at it with the right strategy, the right mentality. If you approach your work thinking about how much work you still have to do then you will probably be demotivated by a lot of work in front of you.
If you choose the other way though, and think about why you are doing it, the reasons should motivate you and make you see reason to work hard. You avoid being lazy and sluggish.
I think about why and the future after I get it done. This usually gives me motivation. besides, the work itself is a gift and a blessing. It is a passion and it doesn't scare me or bore me. That's probably the best motivation: passion.
