A survey was conducted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) across 125 countries in 285 cities, taking views on the most admired personalities in the world of business, politics, religion and technology. Out of the ten, two are from India. Nelson Mandela, the late South-African anti-apartheid revolutionary has topped the list while the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ranked tenth in the list. He is the only politician after the US President Barack Obama to be featured on the list. India’s Mahatma Gandhi has also been ranked fourth in the list.
