On a beautiful, sunny, summers day,
the chickens were running around to play.
As the shy little girl was playing in the back yard,
her daddy brought home a little kitten.
It was a teeny, tiny and fragile kitten.
He handed it to his little shy girl.
She was so happy and excited to hold the kitten.
Then daddy warns her, "Now don't drop it!"
The little shy girl was so afraid she'd drop it,
that she knew in her mind she must not drop it.
Only 3 years old and she being nervous and awkward
the baby kitten slipped right through her tiny fingers.
She watched as it fell to the ground feeling horrified
hoping with all hope that her kitty was still alive.
The little shy girl was feeling very afraid as
she brings it to daddy and daddy got very angry.
He was so angry that he yelled at her loudly.
The little shy girl felt bewildered and ashamed
as she stood there alone and cried.
