LocalBitcoins has 300 new users each day, more than 50k users altogether, and more than 500 trades a day. There are currently 4 people working full time (security and escrow). This is Jeremias Kangas full-time project.

I met Jeremias when he was in town for the BTCLondon event on July 2. An innovative Bitcoin Eco System discussion between twelve enthusiasts led to the recording of an interview for my upcoming documentary IamSatoshi. Jeremias explained LB’s business strategy, philosophy and what he sees for the future.
