The film The Lone Ranger was released on the 22nd of June 2013. Ive been watching trailers for the film in adverts and in the cinema for months now. After watching the trailers I had high expectations for the film and for it to included western theme genre with a action twist. 

I felt that film let me down in parts for example the scenes with the boy at the old fashioned museum with the older version of the indian made me notice that I was watching a film and distracted me from the story line.

I enjoyed the twisted ending and felt that the film ran for the right amount of time. The characters where a strong and I could relate to the all.  Comanche played by Johnny Depp  had a deeper meaning to his character which kept me interested and wanted me to discover more about his background, kept me guessing his next move.

Overall I did enjoy watching this film, it had a strong narrative and characters but parts of the film let me down. I would watch this film again but I wont be buying it on dvd.
