When Did You Realize It was Love? 

A month after we met.

What Did It Feel Like? 

She was the only girl that never bored me. There was never a dull moment, we could talk about the most random things but that was okay with me because she was all I wanted. We would stay up on the computer till 5 in the morning just talking never wanting to sign out because we would miss each other. Then the next day we would do it all over again and I never got tired of it.

What Happened Next? 

We started dating on this game called zwinky and we were both kids, about 12 and 13, and a little immature and just crazy for each other. We both thought we would just date for awhile and forget each other existed. We dated the whole summer, but once it was over so were we. We stopped talking for 6 months but somehow I got ahold of her and we started texting non-stop, then our texting turned into phone conversation. We started dating again but she got bored with the distance and we broke up and stopped talking again. But one night she texted me saying she missed me, and it was just a repeating cycle and a few months later we started dating again. It was okay but I knew it wouldn't last. And of course we broke up once more and it hurt so much. I told her I hated her and we stopped talking...but a week later she texted me and forgave me. She got grounded from her phone, making it really hard for us to talk, and I think that made us realize we couldn't live without each other. In May, we started dating again and it's better than ever. I can tell it's different from all the other times. This summer I'm going to go see her and we're both happy about that. We talk about getting married and having kids and I love it just as much as I love her. We're really happy together:)...sometimes I'm scared I'll lose her, but whatever happens I'm OK with it.

Lessons Learned

• Just because it doesn't work the first time doesn't mean it's not meant to be
• long distance relationships can work but it's hard and a lot of trust is involved
• Being young and in love is hard
• don't let anyone judge you or look at you weird for falling for someone you never met
• if you have never been in a long distance relationship it's hard to understand
• love comes along in the weirdest ways so just enjoy it
