Over the past few weeks, tornadoes have been devastating many areas of our country. Tuscaloosa, Alabama was nearly destroyed 3 weeks ago. We have friends that live there and have visited the city, where the University of Alabama lies. I was very relieved that my friends were safe, but so upset that the nice people of Tuscaloosa were hurt. Then yesterday I heard about a story the tornado that hit Joplin, MO. A tornado was ripping through a neighborhood, when a married couple was trapped in their house. The husband laid his body on top of his wife to protect her from the tornado, and was killed from flying debris. The wife was unharmed. I hope that she lives the rest of her life knowing that her husband wanted her to live. This is love to the fullest level, protecting the most important thing to him- he's wife's life.
