The rapper Maino aka Jermaine Coleman turned himself in to the 6th Precinct and was arrested for misdemeanor assault, according to the New York Post. Porn star Mellanie Monroe claims the rapper attacked her outside a Chelsea nightclub in his SUV around 3 AM last week. Monroe claims the rapper punched her in the stomach, ribs and kicked her in the leg. Monroe claims she got into the rapper's SUV for a ride home. The trouble started when Maino wanted more romance and Monroe refused his advances.

According to Bouncer Chronicles, Maino reps said the rapper, who has worked with Swizz Beatz and Fabolous, was in the nightclub celebrating his new recording. They said he did not have a physical altercation at any point with Monroe.
