How good are you at putting on make-up? Turn your bedroom into a beauty parlour, invite your friends, and take it in turns to give each other makeovers.
TO GET AN EVEN BASE - Gently cleanse your face before you start. Wipe it over with a mild toner on some cotton wool and apply a small amount of moisturizer. Choose a fountain colour that's as close as possible to your skin tone. Mix a small blob of moisturizer on the palm of your hand with a little foundation and apply a small amount at a time to your forehead, nose, chin and cheek. Apply in such a way so that it looks as natural as possible, especially around your jaw and hairline.
TO APPLY EYE-SHADOW - Use a brush to sweep colour over the lid, a small amount at a time. Start with a pale colour and sweep it gently over the whole top lid to the socket. If you want a more dramatic look, try green, blue, deep brown or yellow and apply to the outer corner of your eyelid.
TO APPLY BLUSHER - Use powder blush and a big brush. Sweep the brush across the powder, and tap off the excess. Gently brush the blusher on your cheeks. Sweep it back a little towards your ears. If you want a more subtle look, use cream blusher. Always apply a little to begin with, then build it up.
TO APPLY MASCARA:- You will need to look down. Dip the mascara wand into the mascara. Carefully stroke the mascara wand from the roots to the tips of your top lashes. For the bottom lashes, look up. Gently apply a small amount of mascara on top of the lower lashes. Dark brown or black mascara suits most people.
FINISH YOUR LOOK:- You can finish your look by applying tinted lip balm or lip gloss, or else you can put lipstick. If you are wearing eye make-up, keep your lipstick natural - a pink-brown colour suits most people. If your eye make up seems lighter then apply a deeper colour.
