Dedicated to conserving butterfly species and to the saving of wild butterflies and their habitat, the Penang Farm came to life in 1986 as the first tropical house in the tropical region. Learn what butterflies are and how they come to life, but also take a microscopic view of their amazing wings. Among popular species you can find The Clipper (Parthenos Sylvia), Peacock Pansy (Precis Almana), Common Mormon (Papilia Polytes), the Yellow Grassy Tiger (parantica aspasia) or the Paper Kite (Idea Leuconoe).
