Additionally, the below shots also feature a straight-on look at the Superman costume design and should put to rest the argument over whether Snyder's version will feature the traditional red shorts. It seems that new the movie costume is designed to sync up to the soon-to-debut comic book version that is part of DC Comics' full relaunch. Also starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond and Christopher Meloni , Man of Steel is currently targeted for release on June 14, 2013.
