Ms. Cheryl MAUTHE hope 2015 will be the first year with many good things will come with her family after a dark period, extreme suffering.
In 2012, her son, Cheryl, Colin was diagnosed with leukemia. Also this year, her father died of ALS disease aside. By 2013, her family's house engulfed in flooded and lost almost everything. Luck has not stopped there by 2014, 2 the mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Knowing this painful story, photographer Tim Smith from Brandon, Manitoba, Canada was required to be recorded her family's story Cheryl. After thinking hesitation, she agreed Cheryl because she said that this is how the child she can remember about her and learned that she was battling cancer like.
Cheryl said she was hard to both she and Colin overcome this serious disease, however, she really wanted Colin to survive.
In addition, she also had confided about his process of therapy and son. "I tried to create the atmosphere that the two mother living in a world without cancer. We are only interested in making our moments of happiness like to go out, go to the fair or jointly held birthday. It's hard to escape the sense of tragedy, but when you have 2 kids and just look at them, you will forget all pain, heaviness. They deserve the best mother possible and precisely because of that, but I was gong to try, "she shared Cheryl.
For years, Cheryl always try to control the disease by Colin.
She was due to the help of teachers and friends so that they understand more about what Colin is going through. Indeed, in response to her mother's love, Colin has become very powerful at school.
When the hair, eyebrows, eyelashes fall out because she Cheryl chemotherapy, she had to look myself in the mirror and cry, but, Colin told me that "Mom, mom still very nice."
Try to smile and strong in front of me but when night came, if only left alone, she burst into tears.Cheryl said that one single mom, the fall, depression is the most difficult thing by then, no one reached out to help you get up.
Luckily, her side still friends, who never once abandoned her. They will cook to make sure she does not skip meals, take care of the garden to plant evergreen or each time she encourages her fall.
