Marco Van Basten decided to rest from duties dealing AZ Alkmaar because of health problems.

Disclosed the club, the 49-year coach for a while will undergo a period of rest and 14 September.

"Health so as the club's top priority and we take this responsibility very seriously," said director of football Earnest Stewart on Thursday (4/9).

"On the basis of the club doctor's advice, and after consultation with Marco, we decided to rest will help boost her recovery."

"Football is very dizzy, but health is much more important," he said.

Reportedly the Dutch media, Van Basten stressed at the thought of his heart condition.
