MASALA CHICKEN

Today I am going to share a very spicy chicken recipe which can be served for dinner as main dish. This recipe is very rich in spices and delicious can be served for 6-7 to people. Give a try to this dish and serve with Nan or rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken                                                                         2 kg
  • Yogurt                                                                            1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste                                                        1 table spoon
  • Onion                                                                            2 medium size
  • Ripe tomatoes                                                              2
  • Green chillies                                                                5-6
  • Green coriander leaves                                                1 bunch
  • All spices                                                                         1 table spoon
  • Cumin seeds                                                                   1 table spoon
  •   Turmeric powder                                                          ½ table spoon
  • Red chilli powder                                                            1 table spoon
  • Cardamom                                                                         1-2
  • Cloves                                                                                 1-2
  • Oil                                                                                          ½ cup
  • Salt                                                                                         to tast

Cooking directions

 

  • Take oil in pan add cumin seeds whole cloves and cardamom let them to pop.
  • Add onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Now add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, red chillies, salt and turmeric powder and fry till oil leaves the sides of pan.
  • Add chicken and fry for 10 minutes make sure the chicken is softening.
  • Now reduce the flame and add yogurt and fry.
  • Add 1 cup of water in it sprinkle green chillies green coriander and cover the pan for 10-15 minutes on slow flame.
  • When chicken is soften turn off flame and sprinkle all spices powder.
  • Serve it with Nan or rice.
