A major fire broke out at the Duvvada Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near Vizag in Andhra Pradesh late on Tuesday night. The massive fire erupted in a bio-diesel manufacturing company - Biomax Fuels Limited in the SEZ. More than 40 fire tenders rushed to the spot and are still battling relentlessly to tame the flames. There were around 15 employees at the factory. Luckily, no causalities were reported so far. The Indian Navy has also joined the fire-fighting operation.  The cause of the fire is not yet known but might be due to alleged short circuit at the diesel storage tanks. The state government of Andhra Pradesh has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
