A massive fire broke out during a cultural event at the 'Make In India Week' in Mumbai on Sunday evening. The fire started just after Amitabh Bachchan's performance, when a lavani or Maharashtrian dance was underway. It spread rapidly, with the strong wind from the sea till the stage which was created by Bollywood set designer Nitin Desai was gutted. The fire was put out after efforts by fire fighters for nearly 30 minutes. Top politicians, celebrities and industrialists were among 8,000 people present there. However, none of the audience was injured. A comprehensive inquiry will be held to ascertain the reasons and all programs will proceed as scheduled.
