Having started at Fuzzy Duck in February this year I am the one of the newest ducks to land in the pond. Previously I was working as a freelance digital illustrator, which I still do in my spare time – when I’m not visiting Ikea or some kind of quirky tearoom!
Life as a Creative at Fuzzy Duck is extremely varied. It’s a great place to be for creativity as there are so many different projects to be worked on each day. I could be working on a motion graphic for United Utilities, an illustration for a heritage company and a logo design; all in just one day alone.
A great perk of the job is that by producing work for heritage, there are many opportunities to take a nice trip at the weekend to see my work out there in the public. The Great Orme is next on my agenda to visit, after having producing illustrations for a touch screen located there. I’m just holding out for that one day of sunshine when I can take a drive over there!
I already can’t believe how many new skills I have picked up in the 4 short months I have been here. I am surrounded by a fantastic group of people who not only are a great laugh, but are really helping me to grow as a creative – I can’t wait to see what else is in store.
