In many parts of the country right now water problem is the major problem. In my place also we have lot of problem in water and government taking lot of efforts but still it is uncertainty everywhere.

In recent times technology improved so much, yes! Now sea water into drinking water research is going. Metro water provided to Chennai is taken from a lake called veeranam lake and from here the water is taking. It travels more than 300 kilometers to reach Chennai by iron tunnels.

The good thing is before delivered to homes the water is undergoing some process might be cleansing by using certain bleaching powders. People use this water for cooking, bathing, washing etc. In certain places it’s used to drinking purpose also.

Depending on timings water was given to the public, generally in morning and evening schedules. A separate board was assigned and it works towards the mission that delivers Safe drinking water to people. There are 15 Zones available in entire Chennai.

Exactly no one knows when our complete need of water is fulfilled but one thing I am sure that if we save water or don’t waste water unnecessarily then we can strongly says, water is not at all problem.
