NEW DELHI: Indian brand has launched a low-cost smartphone with 3,000mAh battery in the Indian market. The new Canvas Juice2 has been priced at Rs 8,999 and is said to offer standby time of up to 18 days. 

Micromax's latest smartphone, Canvas Juice2 comes with a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The new model packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM under the hood, has 8GB internal storage and supports microSD cards with capacities up to 32GB. 

The successor of last year's Canvas Juice, this smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Connectivity suite of the smartphone consists of standard features like Bluetooth, microUSB and Wi-Fi, along with 2G and 3G internet. 

The all-new Canvas Juice2 goes on sale starting March 19 and comes in fawn metallic colour.
