A MiG-27 aircraft under the Indian Air Force had taken off from the Hashimara Air Force base in the Dooars area of West Bengal last night but soon crashed into a field in a village near Alipurduar town. The pilot had, however, managed to bail out. But unfortunately, two persons on the ground had died in the crash. An investigation has been ordered by the competent authority to find out the cause behind.
