Miss World Philippines is the national franchise of the Miss World pageant in the Philippines and selects the country’s representative to the said pageant.
Miss Valerie Weigmann won the title of Miss World Philippines 2014 last October 12 in Mall Of Asia Arena. She was the one who will represent in Miss World 2014 pageant to be held in London. She is a former Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus housemate. Valerie is a Filipino, German and Danish descent. When Valerie ask by the judges in Q&A portion, and she answered, “I believe in the importance of empathy and compassion because I see, if all of us can all come together, we can all be advocates of change. And I want to inspire and encourage everyone to take up personal advocacy.” this answer is one of the reasons why she crowned as Miss World Philippines.
