MOBILE CONGRATULATES THE GOVERNMENT ON BECOMING ITU MEMBER BY ZONG CHINA

China Mobile Pakistan (CMPak), President of the first and only wireless 4G service and subsidiary of China Mobile Communications Corporation, commends the Government of Pakistan in particular Ms Anusha Rehman, Minister of State for IT and Telecom, and Dr. Syed Ismail Shah Pakistan, PTA upon winning a seat in (ITU) Council of the International Telecommunication Union. The electoral procedure to select the 48 members of the ITU Council took place at the 19th Plenipotentiary Conference of the ITU held in Busan, South Korea. In congratulating the Government and the Ministry of IT (MoIT), Dr. Fan Yunjun, CEO, Zong said: "This is certainly a proud moment for the Government and all Pakistanis On this happy occasion, I would. extend my sincere congratulations to the Government of Pakistan, MoIT and Ms. Anusha Rehman. ICT industry in Pakistan has advanced rapidly and has set a good example in the region, allowing benefits of modern communication technologies efficiently, safely easy and affordable.

As a result, all telecom operators will benefit by developing agility to offer next-generation telecommunications. the ITU is the United Nations (UN) specialized in information and communication technologies (ICT), which strives to improve access to ICTs to underserved communities worldwide body. through the development of technical standards to ensure smooth network and interconnection technologies, and allocation of radio spectrum and satellite orbits global. the ITU Council acts as the governing body of the Union and its role is to examine the telecommunication policy issues to ensure that the activities, policies and strategies of the Union respond fully dynamic rapidly changing the current environment, telecommunications.
