Mobile Lurking addiction among Students (Research)

Can not live without a cell phone? How many hours do you spend every day interacting with smartphone? Recently, Baylor University has warned a new addiction bentu that can be experienced by a current student, addicted to cell phones.

The report published by the Journal of Behavioral Addictions revealed that female students spend 10 hours per day for their handsets, 2 hours longer than that spent on male students.

While the most frequently performed activities on their smartphones is typing a message, with an average of 94.6 minutes per day. Sending and receiving emails is ranked second with 48.5 minutes, then check Facebook in third place with 38.6 minutes. Browsing the internet and the last 34.4 minutes listening to music is fifth with 26.9 minutes.

As many as 60% of students say if they are addicted to cell phones. Even some of them feel uneasy if not his cell phone. Researchers noted if excessive smartphone use can lead to academic decline. James Roberts also said that the phone can be used by the students to commit fraud or to help them escape from the pressure in the classroom.
