In this era of transition, gluttony is advancing in supremacy and is a causative agent of the maximum problems faced by people. The dream of leading a luxurious lifestyle is taking away the basic meaning of life and our purpose on this earth. Masses are fighting with every possible thing for only two things; power and money. In the same manner poverty is at its peak in the third world countries along with the developed nations who are claiming to be super powers. Due to the materialism and the hype created about it by media and certain other factors the society setup is becoming complex and intangible, every person is observed being in the run of putting in tons of effort to get handsome rewards enabling them to sustain their lavishing lifestyle. The cultural values and assets of any society are being summoned to modernism, gradually everyone is drifting away from their roots in order to satisfy the world hunger. It is necessary to move on with the world but a rather sturdy and profound hold should be kept of our locale. The contemporary needs are so extravagant and brain numbing that nobody would give a second thought and spend their balance on them for impressing others. People will bother making new contacts but they won’t care for what they are losing behind; the important family members. The concept of individualism is travelling heights, because they want more freedom and space in their life in return establishing a concrete fortune for them, which is of no worth to their family.
