Mohun Bagan of Calcutta clinched national soccer league title, their fourth, after 13 years when they managed a 1-1 draw against defending champions Bengaluru FC on Sunday. All that the Calcutta team needed was only a draw with their opponent. But at the 41st minute in the first half, Bengaluru's John Johnson scored the first goal of the match against Mohun Bagan. The Bagan fans were nearly lost for breath when Bello Rasaq finally scored the equalizer in the 87th minute to bring them back to life. Rasaq thus turned out to be the hero as Mohun Bagan got the much-needed point to pocket the title and end their five-year trophy drought.
