More bacteria on mobile phones than a toilet

A recent study has found that, on average, no more bacteria on a cell phone than a toilet.

In fact, the evidence shows that there were up to 10 times of errors, which can cause stomach problems and nausea, on mobile phones than toilets.

According to experts, one reason is that people go phones together and never clean them, allowing bacteria to breed.

Charles Gerba, a microbiologist at the University of Arizona, said that during his ongoing experiments it was found that insects are close to a phone, as it is so close to our hands and mouth.

"When you let someone else use their mobile bacteria readily available on the device too," he said.

Previous research has found that other things we assume are clean are actually quite rude.

Computer keyboards, for example, are five times dirtier than the average toilet seat.
