Mountain Apple 

This is commonly known as makopa in the Philippines. This is a tropical tree with evergreen leaves. There is one popular mountain apple which is commonly called in the philippines as chinese makopa  and it is pink in color. However we have also the other variety of mountain apple in the Philippines which is the native Philippine makopa  very sweet and dark red color.The photo below is the tree and the flower of the native Philippine makopa.

I personally prefer to eat the fruit of the native Philippine makopa because of that sweet taste and it is not tangy at all. Below is the photo of the fruit of the native Philippine makopa.
