Jose Mourinho has hit out at the Football Association for opting not to take action against Manchester Unitedstriker Robin van Persie for an alleged elbow on an opponent.
Van Persie appeared to catch James Tomkins with his arm during United's 1-1 draw with West Ham at Upton Park on Sunday but referee Mark Clattenburg did not see the incident and the FA deemed it not worthy of further scrutiny.
It is a decision that has incensed Mourinho, who will be without star striker Diego Costa for Wednesday's clash with Everton as the Spain international serves the last of a three-game retrospective ban for violent conduct after being found quilty of deliberately stamping on Emre Can last month.
"The same people that suspended my player [Costa] didn't want to suspend a player this weekend," Mourinho told reporters.
When pressed over who he was referring to, the Chelsea boss made an elbowing motion in clear reference to Van Persie and added: "A player did this in the face of somebody else and nothing happened.
