Being a writer myself, I enjoy watching movies based on characters who are in the writing profession from Authors, to screenwriters, to playwrights and to poets. I recently located a great list of 277 movies about Writers and the Writing Life by Christina Katz.

There is a large selection of very interesting films on this list. I even ordered a few from Amazon immediately. These movies which are so well directed and produced are a real inspiration for writers. But, it is the great acting skills of the actors who bring all these great stories and scripts to life.
