Mushi has opened up in a long post in his official Facebook page. The Malaysian player gave his thoughts on Team Malaysia and their break-up, how he could have kept iceiceice and MMY at Team DK and also his curious approach to drafting. "I'm here, writing to all who care about me. For those haters, I still welcome you to post on my page."
Team Malaysia were on a roll in the Summit2, winning the SEA groupstage while remaining undefeated, but the honeymoon period ended when the team hit the playoffs. Their first loss to First Departure, was followed by the departure of Xtinct, and Mushi also headed for the exit after the team's second defeat to the Singaporeans which eliminated them from the competition.
"Why I leave Team Malaysia? Hmm,u can say it like this, we have a peaceful break up?" said Mushi on his Facebook page. "We are more than teammates,we are the very best friends, and even now we are still good friends. I admit as a Coach or Captain,I've been very strict towards them, as I have always been treating myself very tough, And I've always set high expectations for myself. They can play with more comfortable without me."
Team Malaysia was formed from the pieces of the former Titan line-up, which allegedly left due to problems with the management of the multi gaming organisation, a rumour Mushi also makes reference to: "Titan's offer is very competitive in SEA scene, but there's some internal problems between the members and the sponsorship, So they parted ways with Team Titan."
Talk of the town is that Mushi might be teaming up with Hyhy and possibly Yamateh, but if the content of his blog is anything to go by, then that might not be true. " Why was Yamateh not with us? (in Team Malaysia) I believe everyone know there's some issues between me and Yamateh. Yamateh is a skillful player,a very great person and a very great friend. Just we both have a different understanding about professional gamer and different mind set in game,So we two can't be in the same team."

Mushi also spoke of sponsorship, saying it was Net's decision to not pursue sponsorship until the team had garnered some strong results, with Mushi explaining during his entire time in Team Malaysia he did not have a salary of any kind, and that his responsibilities were perhaps too much for him to bear.
"Why didn't we take sponsorship? After the team was announced, yes we have a few option for our sponsorship. We had low tide performances before, and at that time Net told me we shouldn't take any sponsorship first, because we have no results yet,we don't want to have pressure. I totally agree with him. So after we won some matches, we had a lot of options. I've keep contact and deal with all the sponsorships,I hope to choose the best organization for my team.So after I left,I'll pass all the sponsorships contacts to Captain Khoo,I hope they will announce the new organization soon. (...) : My position was a a Player Drafter Captain,Manager and Coach. To be honest I can't handle all these well."
The team's only silveware during Mushi's time
Mushi spoke of his motivations to form a Malaysian team together despite a very comfortable time in China and being offered the chance to stay in Team DK. "To be honest, I have earned quite some money in China compared to last few years in SEA. Team DK held the last meeting in Yunnan, and Burning and Lanm are officially retired by that time. Iceiceice and MMY asked me if I can stay in DK, and if I stayed ice and MMY would stay too. (...) I'm here to say sorry to all the DK fans, but Team DK without the full 5 members is not Team DK."
The former Team Malaysia captain also commented on his odd drafting methods, where he bans out Huskar and Riki in the first phase of the bans, stating that if he had the choice to skip the first ban phase, he would do so. "In Team Malaysia I believe we had the largest hero pool compared to other teams,so we skip the 2 bans. Opponents will have large hero pools to play but we have it too. In dota 2, every hero can be countered, but if you pick all the strongest heroes in one team, that's called greedy. It will make your line up have disadvantages." According to Mushi the decision to ban out popular heroes narrows your own team's options later on in the draft, but he admitted he might not use it in the future.
"If it’s a real TM fan,he will know that we used to skip banning the first two heroes a long time ago. Since we have 19 game winning streaks and LAN tournament in Thailand we still did the same. My teammates understand why I skip those 2 ban. I think the circumstances need me to explain it, so this strategy I may stop using (...) We never underestimate or disrespect our opponents. All the competitive teams are professional."
So what next for Mushi? "I will continue chasing my dream, although I’m not sure where's my next destination, maybe China or the West country," wrote Mushi. " I can only promise you,I will still being a professional player in the coming few years. Unless my hand broke, I will never give up!"
