Bangladesh’s wonder boy Mustafizur Rahman captured five wickets in the third one-day match against Zimbabwe at Mirpur on Wednesday.
This is the third five-wicket haul by the young pacer from Satkhira, who played only his ninth one-day international match.
Mustafiz ran through Zimbabwe’s top order and also the middle order. He secured five wickets for 34 runs bowling 8 overs.
He took the wickets of Chibhabha, Chakabva, Sikandar Raza, Jongwe and Panyangara.
He was on a hat-trick chance in the 41st over but Cremer somehow managed to survive his ball.
Mustafiz recorded a five-wicket haul in his debut against India on 18 June this year and captured six wickets in the very next match against the same side on 21 June.
He is the second player to take 5-wicket hauls in the first two one-day appearances after Zimbabwe’s Brian Vitori. Mustafiz is also the seventh youngest player to capture five-wicket haul in one-day history.
