Every year I hold an Oscars party with some of my filmmaker friends. We all fill out a ballot with our predictions and enjoy appetizers I make inspired by the Best Picture nominees. 

 

This year my Oscar menu is:

12 Years A Slave - wild berry tarts
American Hustle - mini baked pastas
Captain Philips - chocolate pirate skulls
Dallas Buyers Club - steak bites
Gravity - vodka
Her - mini pizzas
Nebraska - beer
Philomena - mini quiches
Wolf of Wall Street - powdered donuts

Here are my predictions:
