My grandma had a stroke last week and is recovering faster than expected.  Last week she was in bad shape and had lost her memory temporarily.  At first doctors thought it might be permanent and I got scared. My grandma has always been like superwoman to me and to see her so vulnerable brought me great sadness. The whole family has gathered together and has helped her dramatically. Especially my own mother, her daughter in law. My grandma still needs help to do routine things but her memory is coming back and doctors say this is a faster recovery than expected. I hope she is the same woman she was before the stroke.
