KPK stands for "Khabr Pakhtoon Khawa". In past this province was known by "Sarhad" or NWFP (North West Frontier Province".
Like other provinces KPK is also sa very important province of Pakistan. It is situated in the north,west side of Pakistan. Its area is 74521 square km.
There are many languages that are spoken in KPk i.e Urdu, Hindko,Siraiki etc but Pashto is the most important language of KPK.Most os people speak Pashto.This is the map of KPK according to languages spoken here.
People of KPK are hard working, well mannered, educated and honest. They are well known by their hospitality. They are very simple and loving people. I am also one of them.... :p :)
People of KPK are blessed by all for seasons i.e winter,summer,autumn and spring.
Peshawar is the capital of KPK. It is one of the well established cities of Pakistan. Here are a lot of educational institutes. There are well known schools ,colleges, universities and technical institutes. The literacy rate of KPK is very high. Haripur is the important city of KPK. The literacy rate of Haripur is almost 53%.
There are a lot of beautiful places in KPK which are worth seeing. People form all of Pakistan come here and enjoy a lot. There are green lands, gardens, high mountain, snowy peaks, lakes, rivers and lot lot more.
