I have just watched a beautiful film by Gunther Gheeraert, entitled Morning of the world.
Morning of the world, is a short personal film that was shot while Gunther gheeraert was in Bali. The film is a series of visually pleasing shots that doesn't fail to leave you breathless. I watched the film twice and instantly had to write this blog just to spread the word about this film.
I came across this film while on Vimeo, and gave it a watch and I was not disappointed. The title Morning of the world is another name given to Bali, and by watching this film, you really understand why Bali is known by this name.
The film was shot on a Canon 5DmkIII, and is set to a stunning piece of music called Indaco, by Ludovico Einaudi.
After watching this film I feel the urge to go to Indonesia, especially Bali and just film, because it is such a beautiful location with so much culture, as well as opening my eyes to the amazing work of Gunther Gheeraert, who is quickly becoming a very strong inspiration on me and my work.
So if you haven't already seen this or other films by Gunther Gheeraert then I strongly suggest you give it a watch, you will not be disappointed.
