With a history of more than 3000 years, Sri Lanka has some of world’s ancient cities and Mysterious Cities. It is even linked with the Epic Ramayana. Some in India also know Srilanka as Sinhala. According to the Epic Ramayana the Demon King Ravana was the ruler of Srilanka, which he took from his borther Kubera. The remains of Ramayana is still present in Sri Lanka. The places mentioned in Ramayana still exist in Sri lanka some in the form of Temple and some in the form of heritage site Sigiriya is one of them. Sigiriya the Lion Rock: Sinhala is located near the town of Dambulla in the Central part of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya is a creation of Genius Builders. This site is built on Rocky Mountain with the great architectural knowledge. It will completely look alien site, as it was build in somewhat around 4000 BCE. In addition, at that time there was no such technology to build this type of wonder. It is also called the eighth Wonder of the world. Sri Lanka is really a beautiful and mysterious place to visit. There are more historical cities like Anuradhapura. It is believed that Anuradhapura was the capital of Sinhalese from 4th Century BCE.
