I'm back. It's been a long time since I wrote my last blog. Because I am confused in choosing a blog topic so I decided to write about a reality show that I have just watched titled I Can See Your Voice. For you who already know me would know where this reality show came from. Yes, you're right, South Korea, since most of my blog was discussed about the movie, drama, variety show, or Korean music. I Can See Your Voice is a South Korean music show by Mnet. A reality show platform will offer talented singers the chance to make their dreams of stardom a reality.-wikipedia
I Can See Your Voice is a music show that aired on Mnet since the beginning of 2015 for the first season. With unique and funny concept and format, this show got a good reception from the audience. After the huge success of the first season, Mnet aired I Can See Your Voice Season 2 with a slightly different format at the end of 2015 ago. The second season also had success getting the hearts of the audience. And there is a big chance will be followed by Season 3 that still not known when it will be aired.
With a duration of about 70 minutes each episode, the show will last three preliminary round and one final round. There will be 7 or 8 contestants consisting of skilled vocalist and tone-deaf person with a random amount. And there will be a guest singer invited in this sow either group or individual singer who will guess which tone-deaf contestant to be eliminated.

Each round 1-2 contestants will be eliminated and will leave 2 contestants in the final round. Guest singer in the final round will select the contestants who will sing a duet with him in stage. If the contestant chosen is a skilled vocalist, he / she will receive a chance to release a song with the guest singer. Otherwise, if the contestant chosen is tone-deaf then he / she will win 5 million Won (South Korea currency).
There is also a group of people who mostly was a singer called Tone-Deaf Detective Team. They will assist guest singer in choosing who is tone-deaf contestant to be eliminated in each round. They will provide opinions about the contestants that might be helpful for guest singer in making decisions.

- Kim Bum-soo
He's a famous singer South Korea and known as ballad singer. He is new to hosted but he was able to cooperate with a host of others and can give helpful advice as a singer about the contestant, although he was still awkward and stiff. - Yoo Se-yoon
He's a famous comedian and show host. So it's no doubt about his skill in hosted throughout the show. He always successfully brought laughter with his humor and sometimes with his funny lip sync. - Leeteuk
He's singer-songwriter, actor. He's a member of famous Korean boy band Super Junior. He has many experience in hosted a show and can get along well with other hosts.
The three of them are a good combination as the host in this show, making this show more lively and more interesting.

There are slight differences in the format of the show between the first and second season. In the first season, a bit sound of contestants will be played through video footage in the first round and contestants are allowed to speak in the second round while introducing themselves, but in the second season contestants were not allowed to speak until the show ends. Here are the details of each round:
♪ Round ①: Singer's Visual ♪
In the first round, the hosts will introduce the contestants one by one, starting from the type of work, nickname, or something protruding from each contestant. From these details, guest singer must choose two contestants were to be considered as tone-deaf. Guest singer must be careful in choosing because this round is pretty tough rounds. Guest singer should also pay attention to the contestants outfit, stylish appearance, and must also consider suggestions from the tone-deaf detective team.

For me, this round is a the most difficult because we had to choose just based on appearance alone and contestants were not allowed to speak. The truth about two eliminated contestants will be revealed at truth stage.
♪ Round ②: Singer's Lip Sync ♪
In the second round, contestants will lip sync a song one by one. Sounds used in the song could be a contestant's own voice or others singer voice. Guest singer should be able to guess which contestants who lip sync with their own voice or not, and must choose which contestants should be eliminated. Suggestions from tone-deaf detective team will be very helpful in this round. If in the first season, contestants are allowed to talk in this round, but in the second season they are not allowed to talk in this round, so it will add the level of difficulty of this round. Guest singer must choose two contestants to be eliminated and the truth will be revealed at the at stage truth.

I always like this round because it is so interesting to see the contestants do lip sync. In this round is also full of surprises and a twist for everyone. Who would have thought that we do not think she / he can sing but when she / he sang on stage turns out he /she is a good singer.
♪ Round ③: Singer's Truth ♪
In the third round only three remaining contestants and their real identity is still unknown. The hosts will show a form of photo evidence that shows the remaining contestants are skilled vocalist. Of course the proof shown could constitute false evidence to mislead everyone and no one knows except the contestants themselves. After each proof is shown, guest singer will be given time for 100 seconds to discuss with tone-deaf detective team. They will discuss who should be eliminated and who should survive until the final round. One contestant will be eliminated in this round and will be heading truth stage to reveal his / her real identity.

♪ Final Round ♪
Two contestants will advance to the finals round and get the chance to release a song with guest singer if the winner is a skilled vocalist or get some money if the winner is tone-deaf contestant. In this round, guest singer must choose who will accompany them to sing duet at the end of the show later and at once to prove the true identity of the selected contestants. Contestants who do not chosen by guest singer will be eliminated and will be heading to truth stage.
♫ Mystery Music Show ♫
I Can See Your Voice is called mystery music show because guest singer, hosts, tone-deaf detective team, and we as the audience do not know the real identity of the invited contestants. All information provided by the hosts when introducing the contestants in the first round can be an intentionally false information. As well everything that happens throughout this show. The truth will be revealed after the contestants sing a song in truth stage that will show whether he / she is skilled vocalist or a tone-deaf.

The idea and format of this show is really fresh, interesting, and different from the other shows, that's why this show is much-loved by many people. Each episode is always presenting different things and always successfully brought laughter and awe for audiences.
