Winger admits he did not play well enough at Old Trafford - but only because he wasn't happy at the club.
Nani has revealed his Manchester United form dipped because he wasn't happy at the club.
The Portuguese winger signed a season-long loan deal at Sporting Lisbon this summer as part of Marcos Rojo's move to United.
Nani revealed he almost left last season, only for David Moyes to block a move.
And the 27-year-old insists his 'dream' of playing for United ended because he grew unhappy at Old Trafford.
Nani said: "Playing for Manchester United was my dream but I suffered a dip in form.
"You can't play well if you are not happy.
"I received a lot of offers last season from Turkey, England, and Spain.
"They held talks with Manchester United but Moyes did not want to let me go.
"I do not think that it's a step back.
"I had other options but I decided to play at this club. It was my choice."
