We know and admire Naomi Christie primarily as a filmmaker, who has shared 3 of her beautiful Southern California inspired fashion films with us on her WebTV; "Wanderlust", "Escape", and "Rose et Bleu". Her Fashion Photography though is something that cannot be overlooked as it's brilliant and constantly inspires us to ask ourselves in the studio, why do we freeze our butts off in NYC when these stunning beaches and back drops that Naomi takes advantage of in much of her photography are only a quick flight away. Naomi discusses Wild Heart starring Hanna Beth:

"My inspiration for this shoot was the natural earthy feel of the beach during the winter. Things are less vibrant but still so enchanting. I wanted a mystifying bewitching vibe - a dark paradise if you will. I love the dark clothing contrasting the white sand and pastel skies in this shoot.

I first worked with DISfunkshion by collaborating with editor and creator, Hugette to deliver a short film that embodies the magazine. After directing Wanderlust, I talked to Hugette about a spread on social media queen, Hanna Beth, who I met on a music video shoot. Hugette is an inspiring and hardworking woman and she features a lot of influential women in her magazine and I wanted to contribute!

I have this little secret spot in Malibu that I stumbled upon one time- there's a wooden swing set and tiki hut. I wanted to use it for a shoot so bad and thought this was the perfect opportunity.
