Nathu Ram Godse , this name is not of actor , leader or any celebrity. This name belongs to the man who killed Mahatama Gandhi on 30th January , 1948 and surrendered him. He was not a terrorist. Nathu Ram Godse was a patriotic person who was member of RSS. But He and his friends were having some reason who made them to kill Gandhi ji . Most people agree with act of Nathu Ram Godse and most do not.
Following are the reasons :
- First reason was casteism. Reservation to lower caste and partiality towards muslim league have created tension in the country.
- After Jaliawala Bagh kand people want to fight against General Dair but Gandhi opposed the country.
- Countrymen was hopeful towards Gandhi regarding Bhagat singh and his friends that Gandhi will save them. In eye of Gandhi , Bhagat singh was a violent person so Gandhi did not listen to the country.
- By his statement Indians have to surrendered in front of violence done by muslim league.
- Support to Mohammad Ali Zinna
- It had been accepted to renovate Somnath Temple unanimously but Gandhi opposed it and later he sits on fasting till death and lead the muslim league.
- After independence Pakistan attacked India , so central government decided not to give 550 million rupees decided at the time of partition, Gandhi opposed this and sat on fasting until rupees had not been given to Pakistan.
These were some reasons many people were angry with Gandhi and Nathu Ram Godse succeeded in him attempt where lots of people failed to kill Gandhi.
