The nation of India today remembered Mahatma Gandhi on his 146th birth anniversary.  President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and other leaders paid floral tributes to the ‘Father of the Nation’ at his memorial in Delhi. Vice President Hamid Ansari, Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu and Mahesh Sharma, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, BJP leader L K Advani and Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad too joined in paying homage to the Mahatma.
